Okey dokey then.

Christmas is going to come whether we like it or not and on radio that means you have to get in the spirit… However, I’m arsed if I’m playing anything you might hear on the PA system in your local shopping centre from Shakin Stevens, Paul McCartney or Slade and therein lies the rub.

I’ve already asked for and gotten suggestions for “different” Xmas songs from bands we all like and they go with the sstuff I already have stashed from the last couple of years (Polyphonic Spree, Podge & Rodge, No Doubt, the live acoustic stuff from last year’s Xmas Eve show from Josh Ritter, Mundy, Paddy Casey etc)

As a thought and to fill in the final gap maybe you can help. If you’re in a band and you’ve recorded a Christmas song at some point either original or quirky cover then let me have it and it might end up on the show in December sometime.
