Out Of Business

I don’t know where I start, so I won’t.

For a long time I’ve been increasingly coming to the conclusion that the fire I once had for blogging is long since gone.

Time to do the decent.

Maybe I’ll come back here at some stage but I can’t see how. In the meantime you can find me here:

  1. Say it ain’t so!

    … no … wait … I actually get it.

Micro-blogging is helping “real life” to kill real blogging in a way… and in a way, that actually isn’t such a bad thing.

Yours was a great read all the same – Fair play, Rick… fair play.

  2. Don’t mind him. He’s said all this before. Twitter is only a passing fad and he’ll soon come back to the True Faith.

  3. Hi Rick.

Twitter is the way young Jedi! Lead you away from the dark side of blogging it will….

  4. its been a unique experience. if not for you i’ve not have met all the hooligans i now hold dear, i’d not have found twitter and even more unique individuals, and so i thank you for maintaining as long as you did.

  5. It’s a pity but you’ve got to do what’s right for you. There’s no point keeping something going for the sake of it. All the best and happy new year.

  6. Ah boo πŸ™

I do understand where you’re coming from though, and at least you’re doing the daycent thing and calling it a day, unlike mine which I just abandoned.

Maybe someday we’ll see you back here hopefully. In the meantime, see ya on Twitter! πŸ˜€

  7. DAMN YOU TWITTER!!!

I can’t talk I suppose… facebook has me in its clammy paws and is sucking my inspiration and time availability dry.

I’ll miss those pointy adventures, but. πŸ™

  8. A shame but entirely understandable. I’ve been on that boat for a while too. That said I enjoyed it while it lasted. You were the centrepoint of this blog lark for me for quite a long time so for that I thank you.

Enjoy real life Rick. I hear it’s, well, real!

  9. Best of luck in further online adventures πŸ™‚ One of the first blogs I read way back in the day of struggling with me own! That said, I have a lickle idea of how you feel!!!

  10. By the bye, Rick, seeing as you like the Rutger Hauer ‘tears in the rain’ monologue, you might like to know that he wrote that himself in his trailer and was unscripted. He presented it to Scott and the rest is history …
