Speaking of that (and in the grand tradition of bloggers all over d’interweb at the moment) huge thank you very muchs to whoever suggested me for the longlists for Best Pop Culture Blog, Best Personal Blog and Best Bloody Blog.

All very cool and gratifying and an interesting process I think. Only 3 or 5 or whatever will make it to the actual shortlist but this gives us a chance to show off all the other brilliant blogs busy beavering away every day without the spotlight on them.

Fair play to all concerned and sure remember – the Blog Awards isn’t about winning or losing, it’s about how drunk you get…
