  1. Went, commented, felt bad. But put it to you this way

Can you imagine they didn’t have The Lives of Others to talk to?

  2. It is sad and no one can help this person if they don’t want to help themselves. Sounds harsh, but I think it holds truth.

  3. It’s terribly sad & also alarming that this person has completely cut themselves off from life, apart from blogging and/or posting on Lives of Others. We’ve all done it (cutting yourself off) for a day or two, maybe even a weekend but for a whole month? This person needs professional help, I hope someone can give it to her before it’s too late πŸ™

  4. depression can be all consuming – but this person is still reaching out at least. i hope they reach out further – Darragh that was a kind thing you did offering them your blog for a way to talk to people. i hope they take some of the advice offered by people that obviously care enough to respond.

in some situations the person themselves for whatever reason is in a frame of mind where they cannot see a way to help themselves. They lose any motivation. THIS is where others need to offer help and non judgemental ears to listen and opinions so that the person in question can get out of that dark place.
I know. I’ve been there. I still go there at times but now I know where to find help Thank God.
