“Gig team, assemble!!!!” Amanda puts up her tent… I offer suitable encouragement… Got talking to a lad from Waterford in the tent next to her. Guess what flew out of his pocket when he had been on one of the fairground rides the night before…..? Camille… The Ting Tings… Seasick Steve… Our regular meeting point… Black Kids… Amanda may have been having a good time… As close as we could get to Michael Stipe. He was the tiny little speck in the middle of the stage… Definitely, DEFINITELY time for me to go home…

RTE TV go live at 1…   Traffic has rarely seemed as riveting 😉 Our first year on d’web… 5.05pm exactly… At Battles – it reads “Best Flag Ever” Someone loses their lunch at a festival, not for the first time… Ben Folds in the lashings of rain… As close as we could get to Mundy. I think it’s best to let the two days explain themselves in photos to follow as you’re going to read your fair share of reviews over the next day or so. Suffice to say on Friday I saw Battles (incredibly loud and impressive), Ben Folds (worth the wait – he was mega and I was surrounded by people who knew every word to every song.
