f*ck, this was one of my draft post things. going insane about how all the songs were the exact same in the shop(go into a supermarket for an hour and see how many of these pop up)
It’s clever, but really I think they’re just picking out songs with an E, A, C minor progression. I think. There could be a B minor and a D in there swapped around for variation, but it’s a really easy riff to put behind anything. You could probably put the first four chords of Wonderwall or something behind just as many vocal melodies.
Totally agree with Una here, but the thing that got me is how many of some of my favourite songs were in there. I must really like that chord progression.
