How can I possibly have missed that the legendary Jerry Reed passed away when I was on holiday?

In my childhood he was, of course, Snowman in the Smokey & The Bandit movies…

But he was a giant of country music himself and wrote some peaches like this 🙂

He originally had a hit with Guitar Man and played guitar on Elvis’ version too…
