100 Words On… Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip – Whelan’s 09-02-09

Last year I was very much the worse for wear, and it was well after 1am by the time they took the stage in Crawdaddy. This time I got both barrels stone cold sober and left with pretty much the same opinion.

They’re fucking brilliant.

My eardrums ached, the songs were glorious and I screamed every word to the sample of Public Enemy’s Bring The Noise. Not a pretty sight. They even played a cover of a new UK band they wanted to give a leg up to – Push The Button by The Sugababes.
