Saw in the paper on Friday morning that Debra Ireland had put up a walk on part on Ros Na Run for bids on Ebay.ie and that it was still lingering at €16….. Brilliant idea – shame on you!

Thought we’d bid for it ourselves and Ruth could go as the show’s token half-gaeilgeoir and do it! We put in €20 just before we finished with Jenny the show’s producer’s credit card (Ruth and I are too great as credit risks to have one!) obviously hoping that some of you would put in some actual bids and bump up the charity’s takings.

Sure enough by the time the auction ended at 4 that day you guys had pushed it up to €270 🙂 Well done you….
