Needs to be adopted by every Irish employer as soon as possible. In Japan a company is allowing people “heartbreak days”. A paid day off when you split up with your partner. Just to get over it. Have a look. It’s the future, people.

Newsflash Rick – the future is already here in Ireland. It’s called the Public Service. Whilst every worker in private companies (especially manufacturing) are wondering who is next for the chop, I doubt there are many in government jobs worrying about their future. Give me job security over fluffy heartbreak days anytime.
