   The players are on the Iranian national team and showing their solidarity with those protesting back in Iran by wearing green wristbands.

   A dangerous pastime…

5. I hear they were “persuaded” to discard the wristbands in the second half. Still, the damage was done. Some fairly forthright messages from the spectators too. All broadcast in Iran.
