Isn’t this a nice view to greet you when you come into work…?

Jon Stewart is going to be hosting the Oscars!!!!! This year I will arse myself watching… If you’ve read here you’ll know of my devotion to The Daily Show on More4. Only just checked out their site this evening prior to hearing on our news here in the office that he was taking over from Chris Rock…

There are tons of downlooads (mostly the interviews and reports, not the opening news monologues which tend to be the funniest parts of the show but nonetheless…) including the very wonderful version the White Stripes did on the show that M4 were repeating this week…

Still haven’t watched Desperate Housewives from Tuesday, might manage to on Friday night… Very unlike me although to be fair I did manage to find time to watch 2 Daily Shows when I came home after midnight last night.

Will mailed me yesterday and said that since I mentioned the Saturday Show podcast here they’ve gone up from 6 to 4 on Itunes. He wasn’t sure if this had anything to do with me; I’m always available to take credit for things even when they may have nothing to do with me…

Was talking to one of the guys as I came into the office this evening wearing my mp3 player… He was checking it out and asked me “does it have a radio on it…?” Am I the only one who doesn’t get the logic behind loading a player with 4,500 tracks and then letting someone else choose what you listen to..? (Perhaps now not the best time to admit I almost never listen to the radio and certainly very little outside 2FM and Lyric)

Think I’m suffering from Last Day Of The Week Syndrome. I’m only just in the week and getting in to any kind of groove and I’m off again… Having said that I’m not using this to allow the boss (who does read here) to give me an extra day to work; far from it! Just a bit weird to go from 5 days on, 2 days off to 4 days on, 3 days off and yes, I know almost no-one else in the rest of the country would complain about that situation… 😉

PS Have just realised that Liam T has said pretty much the same things about Clare and Jonathan on his blog…. It was, of course, accidental that I wrote the same thing… Would hate anyone to thing I was cribbing from a blind man…
