1. Thousands of miles apart, and sooooo much in common! Brenda from the USA listening online, and I have the same reaction to the apostrophe bit. Our local landfill has a sign that explains how to pay: Insert Bill’s Only Two Dollars. I assume they mean the machine takes bills only, and the cost is two dollars. I hope so, ’cause I don’t know who Bill is, and I’d feel bad inserting his only two dollars…
