Got it from the library, wouldn’t have been worth it if I’d bought it and paid top dollar…

Ah, I did my French thesis on this (L’Ascension du haut mal). This is the first time I’ve seen it mentioned anywhere since! My view is probably tainted by having to write a thesis on it but I can’t say I loved it.
