So. No text week continues. I’ve actually had to call people! It’s not a bad experience all in all 🙂

One of our guinea pigs, Breda, has decided to write us a few bits during the week to tell us about how she’s getting on…

Well now…

I’ve just reached the end of day one but I’m surprisingly ok so far, although it’s almost as if there is still a novelty factor, almost like a false sense of security or invincibility… I’m thinking it will get a little more difficult with each day but i’m sticking with the plan of turning my phone off at night so that I will remember in the morning !

The response to what I’m doing has been very mixed with the most popular response to my mission being a resounding desire from my friends to want to text me, and they are determined to do so as often as possible I’m thinking. In fact when I came off the phone to Rick today I had at least five messages waiting for me!

I’m happy that I’m doing it but it’s taking it’s toll on my credit! I’ve already spent about a tenner calling people back and not because i got a lot of texts but more so because even though my friends aren’t big into texting- they are big into talking!! Maybe there’s a reason that I text them instead of calling…

met up with some friends this evening who were slightly annoyed that I hadnt let them know about the show but since i couldnt send a group text…

Overall, all is well here!!
