To counteract all that schmaltzy hooey there is the small issue of opening my paper every day and a five million euro note dropping out.

Not a real one (I’ve tried buying chewing gum in the Spar with it – no dice) but a fake one. Every day. As if it’s taunting my failure in last week’s Euromillions. How many trees were cut down to make these things?!?!?!?!?

Grrr….
