The Dublin Metroblog…

Aaaaaaaaaaaand we’re up and runnning…. Finally!

A metroblog is, according to our own blurb on the site:

Metroblogging is the largest and fastest growing network of city-specific blogs on the Web. From San Francisco to Bangkok, from Karachi to Toronto, Metblogs are a hyper-local look at what’s going on in the city. Our hand-picked core of regional bloggers give each site a new perspective on daily life; less calendar listings, more friendly advice. With Metblogs, you can read about life and times in your neighbourhood, your favourite places to visit, places where you’ve never been, or get a feel for them all with the daily “best of” blog on the hub at metroblogging.com.

The Dublin one has just gone online and I’m one of the occasional contributors 🙂

Hi to Daragh, Jeff, Bernard, Penrose, Caoimhe and Karlin who are all startup contributors..

We’re here: http://dublin.metblogs.com and the first of the pieces I wrote for it, about just where you go in Dublin late at night if you’re not on the lash is HERE

  1. Hey Rick,

Just after flicking over onto you on the ould Sky box now, dunno if you gave us a plug on the show earlier, no doubt you did, will be interesting to watch the stats over the next few days and see how we’re doing!

  2. Rick,

We’ve already set up a Dublin Blogs site there. It would be great to have your blog in there. It’s easy to add. Just click on “get listed”.

    Regards,
    Roger
