It’s the 5th year now that I’ve been part of the Trocaire schools day we have here every year. The idea is a simple one – take some of the schools that have done best in terms of fundraising for the fast in recent years, have them in for the day, they talk to the most recent presenter to gooff on one of their trips, feed them, take their piccies, do a tour and they get to meet some of us for their sins too…

This year it was Terenure College, St Louis’ Dundalk, Hartstown Community College, Coolmine Community College and the Loreto Balbriggan; heroes one and all!
