Right so…. Small amends to make to the 6 people who regularly pass by here 🙂 It wouldn’t be so bad but I was berated ON CHRISTMAS DAY(!) by my own father and godmother for not posting enough….

So, first things first – there are a bunch of music related things happening to do with me and the show in the next while. The first is this year’s 2FM Hope For 2007 award at this year’s Meteor Ireland Music Awards. The nominees are officially out and are, in alphabetical order:

The Blizzards, Delorentos, Electric Penguins, The Immediate, Luan Parle and RoySeven

I’ll be playing one track from each band during the week and giving you full details as to how to vote and then muggins gets to present the award on the night.

Well, at least that means I’ll get to make a trip up to the podium this year after all 🙂

The next I can chat about after the announcement of the shortlist for this year’s Choice Music Prize next week…
