Bookage

Just finished. Brilliant.

One of the real head-openers I’ve read over the years.  If you’re lucky you come across them. Just as, in the past, Malcolm Gladwell’s The Tipping Point, Naomi Wolf’s The Beauty Myth, John Pilger’s Secret Rulers Of The World and Eric Schlosser’s Fast Food Nation have made me look at the world differently, so has this.

  1. Just finished Duncan Bannatyne’s autobiography “Anyone can do it”. He’s the Scottish guy off Dragon’s Den. I picked it up with a bunch of other books on Saturday – wasn’t expecting much from it to be honest but WOW, my eyes have been opened. His story is quite inspirational and I have a totally changed view of him now. He’s a real down to earth family man with great compassion and concern for others. Best business related book I’ve read all year.
