Conspiracy Theory No 33,478 – Why Summer Is Over…

Has anyone noticed that, just as in almost every other year since I was the one doing it, the sun split the trees for the duration of the Leaving Cert and now we’re back to living in dull, dreary, downright pain in the arse reality weather?

My proposal? Set up a scientific group to investigate the cause/effect nature of the Leaving Cert and good weather and, presuming it finds there is a link which I think it will, simply arrange for students to do their exams over and over again for three months every year.

Yes, it may be a touch unfair on them but face it – they’re young and will get over it and the rest of us will have a ball 🙂

  3. Um, hate to be a spoil sport, but I kinda agree with Kevin! Well, not so much that I’ll take the rain, but….endless scorching sun really isn’t for me.

    They say women don’t sweat, that they glow…well, I glow buckets!!

    Moderate temperatures, a little sun, some wind and no humidity..that’d be ideal. Maybe we could get the students just to sit CLASS exams over and over for three months? So not quite the Leaving Cert, but still exams equalling decent weather all the same?
