Forgot all about mentioning the Blog Awards opening of submissions in the last couple of days. Did have Damien on the show to be fair – yes, I know, it is the favoured child these days for everything….

Thought about submitting here for consideration. Got shortlisted in Best Personal Blog last year (and still very proud of that I am too!) but I am acutely aware of just how piss poor what I put here has become in the last 6 months 🙂

So, in an honourable compromise, I submitted some of the posts I best liked from the first half of last year for Best Blog Post:

Sure I’ll be hosting again this year anyway and it’s much more fun to be up on the stage talking utterly improvised crap than having to stumble through an acceptance speech, at least that’s what I keep telling myself…. 🙂
