The Surreal Part Of Falling Down…

Genuinely.

Sometimes having epilepsy since I was 16 and being the national patron of Epilepsy Ireland for the last howevermany years never gets any less strange.

A few months ago I was asked to address the 30th International Epilepsy Congress in Montreal. It’s not the first time I’ve been asked to do this; I’ve done speeches like this in places like Malta, Marseilles and the European Parliament building in Brussels before.

I’m no expert on the subject, I’m the guy they call in when they want someone to give a speech to a room full of assembled professionals and people in epilepsy organisations about what it’s like to develop it, have it and live with it.

I’m a bit handy at that sort of thing because I talk for a living 🙂

Still, never gets any less surreal, so, Matthew, next Monday the 24th I shall be at…
